Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya English Adventurous Hero and a Mermaid is a 1996 Tollywood film produced by Buragapalli Sivarama Krishna on Sri Venkateswara Art Films banner, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Starring Venkatesh, Shilpa Shetty, Malashree and music is composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film recorded as Hit at boxoffice. It was dubbed into Hindi and Tamil languages. Hindi version was titled Sagar Kanya. The movie is loosely based on the Hollywood film Splash.

He associates himself with a witch who helps him in finding the treasure. After a few attempts, the witch finds out that the treasure can be recovered with the help of a mermaid.Accidentally one day Sagara comes on to land from the water and loses her mermaid body. She turns out to be a beautiful woman. Whenever water is spilled over her, however, she turns back into a mermaid. ........
